Merrick flossies? Are they good?
My puppy recently got flossies as a gift and he loved them. He went through one in under one hour. I worry that he would choke on it when he was able to get the entire thing in his mouth so I would remove it. For those who give this to their dogs, do you let Your Dog eat the entire thing? Is beef tendon healthy for dogs? Is one a day too much for a 5 lb. puppy?
Merrick flossies are an excellent product. Unlike the typical white rawhide they are easy to digest. That being said just like anything a Dog Chews you do have to make sure they don't swallow large pieces. I can leave my dog to chew the entire thing, but you know your dog best as to whether he will chew or just swallow the final piece.
I assume you are using the Small Size flossies. If so, 1 a day should be fine for a 5 lb puppy.
