My cat wont go on his perch anymore?
I have a 2 year old male orange tabby cat. He's the sweetest kitty I've ever had and he's so cute! Ever since he was a kitten he would love to jump up on his perch (Cat Tree) and sleep all day. But about a week ago he started avoiding it. He still scratches on the scratching board but he refuses to jump up on the bed part. My family and I have even tried putting treats up there but all he does is reach for them, he doesn't even try to get up. What do I do? How do I get him to go back on it? Is there something wrong with him or the perch? Thanks so much! 
He is being a cat, and since you want him to use the perch, he won't. You could try putting something on the perch to see if it is disturbed in the morning, which would mean he was on it at night. Like a paper towel.
Many consider red boys (Orange cats) special, and that is what you have.
Any other consideration would be if he is not moving normally. Then, he may have gotten an injury. So if he is at his usual activity, then he is merely being a cat. Unpredictable.
